It’s yours to lose, Hudak.

Let’s hope the provincial Tories have actually learned a lesson or two when it comes to what works during elections. Instead of hiding from the Mike Harris past – embrace it. It works. He won two majority governments for saving this province from obliteration at the hands of Bob Rae and a Federal Liberal government keen on slashing transfer payments. When Harris was done, 500,000 people were off welfare, taxes were at record lows and investment was plenty. Health care saw record influxes of cash and things were booming.

Instead of discussing chain gangs, let’s focus on the economy and the criminal mismanagement after 8 years of Liberals. It’s time to choose change.

Trudeau, give us a break.

The Liberal Party should have just saved its money on the new Trudeau ad where he claims he is “proud to be a teacher“.

Hardly.

Let’s do a brief recap, shall we?

Trudeau was a substitute drama teacher.

Remember in high school when the regular teacher was away and you got that substitute teacher? You know. The one that demanded the same respect of the class that you would give your usual teacher?

Remember how seriously you took that substitute teacher?

Remember how you viewed that substitute teacher as a flash in the pan, a person unable to follow up on any work issued because they simply wouldn’t be there tomorrow?

Voila.

We have Justin Trudeau.

Just STOP already..

Trudeau, Trudeau, Trudeau. Is anyone else sick and tired of hearing that name already?

What, exactly, is it that is so special about this guy?  As the saying goes, those who do not understand history are condemned to repeat it.

Under the watch of Trudeau the First, we saw record high interest rates. We saw our debt explode.  We saw the west alienated. We saw “soldiers in our streets”.  We saw wage and price controls.  We saw closer alliances with Castro.  We saw the snubbing of our largest trading partner, the United States.  We saw polarization of foreign investment.  We saw property rights removed.

I would keep going but I don’t need to flog a dead horse.

Trudeau the Second is even scarier than the first.  A former drama teacher who speaks in tones eerily familiar to William Shatner, I can only imagine what Canada would look like when he was done with it.

Just stop already.  It’s getting stupid.

The laziest gun in the world…

Guns don't kill people.

Guns don’t kill people.

With the second amendment debate in full swing in the United States, I couldn’t miss this opportunity.

“…Can you imagine how surprised I was, with all the hype about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people? Either the killing is by people misusing guns or I’m in possession of the laziest gun in the world. So now I’m off to check on my spoons, because I hear they make people fat.”

HA!

Goodbye, Ralph

Former Alberta Premier Ralph Klein passed away yesterday.  I’m not going to repeat the same biography of his life in politics as I’m sure the readership here got their fill from the media.

However, it truly is an end of an era. Ralph had guts and was a politician who didn’t put up with nonsense. He was Alberta’s Mike Harris and could always be counted on to give the federal Liberals a run for their money.

They don’t make them like that anyone. Rest in peace, Ralph.

Arguments from 1988

Not that anyone needed it, but what a perfect opportunity to remind Canadians about the NDP’s lack of originality and vision.

“…Mulcair, though, was giving no quarter, accusing Harper of selling out Canadian jobs.

“His project includes the export of 40,000 Canadian value-added jobs. We will keep standing up for Canada,” Mulcair fired back to NDP cheers…”

*Yawn*.  Well, at least they’re not countering with a motion to collectivize the oil sands in a Soviet style “redistribution” of wealth.  But that could be next.

“…Harper immediately took issue Mulcair’s point.

“We have 950,000 new jobs created since the end of the recession. It is one of the best records in the world and Canadians will never sacrifice that to the extremism and ideology of the NDP.”

Regurgitating 25 year old isolationist policy just goes to show how ancient the ideologues within the NDP truly are.  It didn’t work then, it won’t work now.

Gee. I wonder which party better represents Canada’s interests.

;)

NDP Still on Crack

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

“…But NDP finance critic Peggy Nash said Monday the party hasn’t carved out how much its alternative vision will cost.

“I’m not going to pull out one piece and say, ‘Here’s the price tag,’ because I think it’s a shift in approach,” said Nash. “As we get closer to an election we usually cost things out specifically.”…”

A “shift in approach”?

Like, say, during the last election campaign where the NDP was promising over $50 billion in election goodies with no plans to pay for it?

Oh, except by introducing a carbon tax.

I’m guessing by the slogan “Real Things for Real People”, they mean REAL soup kitchens and REAL homelessness?

Who even supports these people???

Piers Morgan is a moron.

Hello folks!

Well, it has been a long time since my last post – yours truly has been busy with life and the trials and tribulations that come with it.

That being said, I am once again venturing into the blogosphere.  With the Federal Liberal Party about to elect a complete idiot as its leader, I can no longer be silent.

That being said, today’s post?

Piers Morgan of CNN is a complete idiot.

If you have some time on your hands, look up his various YouTube videos.  Even Paul Martin and Jean Chretien were unable to get me as angry as this guy does.

Nobody in their right mind could possibly come to grips with the fact that this assclown believes half of the nonsense that comes out of his mouth.

God.  What a blazing moron.

One Trudeau was MORE than enough.

The fact that the Liberals and their pals in the mainstream media are clamouring for a Trudeau dynasty has me laughing my proverbial ass off.

Quite frankly, as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

Now the Junior Trudeau is running off his name. There’s not a smart idea in that head of his.  He just goes from one photo-op to another, spewing some nonsense about the youth of today and yadda yadda yadda, but absolutely has no vision on policy or economics.

Anything he does open his mouth about blows up in his face. From agreeing to a separate country of Quebec, to anti-Alberta comments – this dramatic actor is the epitome of all that is wrong with the Liberal Party. Pierre Elliot Trudeau he is NOT.

But the Liberals, as usual, have learned nothing from Adscam.  They blame Canadians for their period in the penalty box. It isn’t their fault, it’s all those dumb Canadians that voted for the “idiot Albertans” that don’t share “Canadian values”. It had nothing to do with corruption or stealing taxpayer’s dollars to give to Liberal-friendly ad firms in Quebec. Oh hell no! It’s those EVIL ALBERTANS.

This is just the same old wolf in sheep’s clothing, trying to parade its next star candidate down the throats of Canadians.  Frankly, the contempt in which the Liberal Party of Canada holds the Canadian voter is the same old story they’ve put forward since Dion, Ignatieff and Rae. But now, they think because it’s a TRUDEAU (who’s no Pierre, that’s for DAMNED sure), we’re just going to gobble it up and put him in power?

One Trudeau was enough. We don’t need a dynasty. And I don’t want to be paying 22% interest rates either.

How stupid does the Liberal Party and their CBC friends think we are?
