It’s Eerily Quiet…

Hey – when Prime Minister Stephen Harper prorogued Parliament to avoid the seizure of power by the separatist coalition led by Liberal leader Stephane Dion, the left in this country, especially the tree-huggin’, latte sippin’, CBC watchin’, Liberal votin’ folks in Ontario.

How quiet it is now that Dalton McGuinty prorogued the provincial legislature to avoid the inevitable Liberal defeat they’re certain to face once they sit their rear ends down in the government aisle at Queen’s Park.

Why the silence?  Isn’t it “anti-democratic”, and all that nonsense?

Oh, and  a hat tip to Jen on the link she provided yesterday, where Trudeau topped the prorogation list at 11, followed by Chretien at 4…looks like it’s a Liberal past time.

Hypocrites.

Except for the Star of all papers and Lowell green on 580 CFRA there is quiet about this where McLiar want to be able to negotiate a secret deal with the unions.

  2. Ah, the vile, putrid smell of hypocrisy in the late weeks of fall….

It seems to be coming from the media.
