“Mr. Mouth” Pat Martin has publicly apologized for his slanderous remarks he made against RMG on national television, and is now having a good healthy taste of his foot.

“…The apology appeared on Martin’s website Tuesday, about six days after he  made comments on national TV about Responsive Marketing Group in connection with the robocalls issue.

 ”I did not intend to impugn any notion of illegal behaviour to RMG. In that sense, my statement was ill-advised,” Martin wrote…”

“…Martin is also being sued by RackNine Inc., the Edmonton telephone marketing  firm whose services were used to misdirect voters in at least one riding.

RackNine has co-operated with Elections Canada and CEO Matthew Meier has said  the company was unaware its technology was being used for such calls. RackNine  has helped track the identity of “Pierre Poutine,” the alias adopted by the  person who set up the calls using a disposable cellphone…”

So now we have a Liberal members from Guelph admitting to conducting illegal robocalls, and the NDP member from Winnipeg publicly apologizing to the firm he accused of conducting illegal behaviour on behalf of the Conservatives. Martin refuses to make these allegations outside of the protection of the House of Commons.

Meanwhile, the Tories continue to cooperate with Elections Canada to get to the bottom of these things.

Do the opposition parties REALLY want a public inquiry? Be careful what you wish for…

That’s funny, because today in the House of Commons, the NDP and Liberals were falling all over themselves stating that it was a “known fact” that it was a Conservative.

So what do they know that the rest of us, including Elections Canada and the mainstream media, do not?

Guess it’s another one of those “head-up-their-asses” routines we see day in and day out during Question Period – behind the safety of Parliamentary privilege. You know, the thing that gives MPs immunity from defamation and slander laws?

Funny how the NDP and Liberals say nothing of the sort while they’re outside the House of Commons, which NDP MP Pat Martin learned last week, would have serious consequences.

Here are the facts: The Liberal member for Guelph admitted that the Liberals broke the law. As shocking as it is, Liberals holding contempt for Canadian voters (LOL) and playing them for idiots, they claim their infraction is “different from the Tory infraction of “voter suppression”, even though nothing has been proven whatsoever.  So the Member for Guelph admits he engaged in illegal activity by authorizing a robocall that failed to mention the name and political party affiliated with the caller – and somehow Bob Rae thinks this is okay. But the allegations against the Conservatives are completely and utterly unsubstantiated.

Yet both the NDP and Liberals refuse to open their books.

Look, the NDP and the Liberals spent millions on robocalls.  They’re refusing to turn over their documentation to Elections Canada while the Conservatives have done everything within their power to cooperate.

Sounds funny to me – along with the failure of “Pierre Poutine” to come forward today which has now turned into “we may wait years” to find out.

Wanna bet it was a Liberal?

The Iceman illustrates Bob Rae’s backpedalling, which makes me smile on a beautiful Sunday morning.

He’s all in favour it, and defended the illegal robocalls made by the Liberal campaign in Guelph (where the caller pretended to be a regular concerned citizen, not a paid representative of the Liberal Party). Bob also backed off accusing the Conservative Party of wrongdoing; he simply wants what everyone on both sides wants, to find out who misdirected voters to incorrect voting locations…

…The Liberals have said that Elections Canada is aware of their illegal calls. I’m interested to know if there was a fine or penalty issued? Did they raid the Liberal campaign office?”

Watching Bob Rae foam at the mouth last week for his CBC sound-clip and listening to him packpedal are his just desserts – welcome to the beginning of the end of this complete and utter waste of time.

The last time I checked people wanted jobs – not a multi-million dollar inquiry.

That’s right – they even went so far as to say it’s even worse than Afghanistan.

I certainly do.  Especially since Bob thinks he’s the smartest cookie in the world and doesn’t realize how smart Stephen Harper really is. He’s like Teflon, Bob. Like Teflon.  And he keeps hitting your nonsense out of the park.

The Conservatives have found some proof of their own, and revealed it during Question Period today – and boy, does it ever make the Liberals look like morons.

That’s right. The Liberals have allegedly paid a company during the election, whose call centres and servers are located in the United States, to make calls on their behalf.

And since the allegations are that these “Robo-calls” were representing Liberal candidates, it could have been the Liberal Party themselves that made these calls.

The lack of proof brought forward by the NDP (Sit the hell down, Pat Martin, you’re a joke) and the Liberal Party is astounding. The Tories have turned over their documents in abundance to Elections Canada.

So why are the opposition members not lobbing the allegations of “electoral fraud” outside the protection of Parliamentary privledge?  Because they’d get their asses sued off, that’s why.

To date – there is absolutely NO proof that the Conservatives engaged in any illegal electoral activity.

And now we find out that it could very well have been the Liberals themselves that made these calls – of course, they don’t want to turn over THEIR documentation, do they?

Please hang up, and try your assclown accusations again…

I don’t know if anyone has taken the time to watch Question Period today, but this “Robo-call” thing is a complete and utter joke.

One member says there is “all kinds of evidence” while another opposition member says “The Tories have the evidence and are hiding it..” and Bob Rae says “they’ve turned everything over” but that the government “has all the information..”

Huh??

It’s such a circus.  It is absolutely hilarious to watch the Liberals and NDP, who can’t STAND a Tory majority government, including their buddies in the mainstream media, make such a mountain out of something of which there is no evidence.

The Prime Minister has said that Elections Canada should initiate a full investigation and that if the opposition parties have any evidence whatsoever, they should turn it over to Elections Canada immediately.

Doesn’t sound like much to hide there.

It’s a farce. It’s a joke. It’s a charade – so typical of Bob Rae and the Liberal Party of Canada that voters rejecting so astoundingly during the last election.

That’s right, don’t you hate it when the Tories keep their promises?

I know Liberals do. They hated it when Brian Mulroney privatized 23 crown corporations, including Air Canada and  Petro Canada.  They hated it when Brian Mulroney cancelled the National Energy Program that pillaged western Canada of it’s energy profits. They hated it when Mulroney signed the Canada/U.S. Free Trade Agreement.

They hated it when Mike Harris took hundreds of thousands off of welfare in Ontario. When he told the teacher’s unions “NO”. When he cut taxes and still managed to create a booming Ontario economy despite federal Liberal transfer payment cuts.

And now? They hate it because Stephen Harper has destroyed their brainchild.

The Liberal response? Sulk, kick and stomp.

Liberals – build a bridge and get over it.

In this piece, the author asks “Has Stephen Harper lost control of his caucus?“  It starts with certain comments – and then turns into the old abortion, scary, racist Reform Party fear mongering.

What a hilarious piece of journalism this is.

…Certainly over the years Stephen Harper has worked hard to shed the perception that his Reform party/Conservative Alliance/Conservative Party were full of extremists and crack-pots.

Remember the old days of the Reform Party?

There was MP Cheryl Gallant who compared abortion to a beheading. Then MP Randy White said the Conservatives would overrule the courts on same sex marriage.

And who can forget the always quotable Bob Ringma when he said he would “fire” or  “move to the back of the shop” a homosexual or member of an ethnic minority whose presence turned off bigoted customers…

…Hopefully we’re not going back to the old days.”

I am absolutely astounded at this lunacy.  We all know that ever party has had MPs with loose lips, and their share of crackpots.

Like this Liberal Party doozy. And this one. This?  Or the Liberals’ 1999 vote in the House against legalizing gay marriage? Justin Trudeau’s slip of the tongue on Canadian unity? I could go on and on and on.

Or the NDP nonsense here. Jack Layton’s musings on removing the Clarity Act. Their anti-Israeli position?  The stirring of separatist sentement to gain votes?  There’s more than plenty to choose from.

I love the media. Oh, yes, I do. And I love how they twist and turn and do everything within their power to keep this “hidden agenda” nonsense alive.

The NDP says the Tories are “pushing the panic button”. Here’s the “panic” they talk about.

“The official Opposition says the government is “pushing the panic button” regarding its controversial F-35 fighter jet program.

NDP MP David Christopherson believes Washington’s plan to slow production on the fighter jet is prompting its partners to rethink plans, which is concerning for Canada.

Associate defence minister Julian Fantino has said the government is committed to the F-35 program, but he asked defence department officials to evaluate how the Pentagon’s decision impacts Canada.

“Minister Fantino is interested in hearing an update on the program’s progress and challenges,” his spokesman, Chris McCluskey, said Sunday. “We are always in discussions with our allies and partners in the multinational Joint Strike Fighter program.”

The NDP has long criticized the government¹s fighter jet plan. They say the fighter is far too expensive, and an open and transparent procurement process is needed in order to replace current F-18s.

Reports suggest Canada has tentatively scheduled a meeting with F-35 partners at its embassy in Washington, but can’t confirm if there is a meeting in the works.

Lockheed Martin, the Pentagon’s primary supplier, and U.S. officials are prepping for a meeting mid-March in Australia, where Canada, Britain, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Australia and Turkey will outline their procurement plans.

Delays and shrinking orders could drive up costs for each country, according to defence experts.”

?!?!?! What the hell are the New Democrats talking about?

Canada is shopping to replace its outdated fighter jets.  And everytime a Tory government wants to update the military, our friends on the left scream bloody murder because we should all pass around the joints and hug our friends into submission.
